| These paintings are part of a series called "A World of Treasures and Dreams". The images in my mind come to life revealing provocative worlds locked away waiting to be explored. The visual language of my work connects with my love for the unfiltered nature of children's art, mosaic tiles, textures, patterns, free forms, organic lines, symbols of hope, Art Brut, Hundertwasser, Scottie Wilson, Adolf Wolfi, my Armenian heritage, and my inner dream world I slip into...Although I journal to get my thoughts down before they evaporate, my painting process ranges from completely intuitive to partially planned. |
