I have always created things with my hands. As a child I was always making something- a doll, a drawing, a clay figure, sewing... When I was a young girl My Mother started me drawing stick pictures and My Father would assist me with my colorizing. My paintings are usually of people and animals. My medium is essentially acrylic paint, but I also illustrate and paint digitally. I feel a connection with each design that I create. It is very fulfilling to watch each design grow and develop into something very special and unique (whether it is an illustration or working with fabric, or repurposing a found object). My hope is to touch people’s emotions through my art. |
