| I am a simple artist trying to portray the simple moments in life. I consider them to be works of calligraphy and that is why the lines have so much movement in them. Right now I am working on a series of paintings that express the 99 names of Allah in my daily life. I am a dervish and a transwoman, and I find that the best way to find my place in life is by making the mundane beautiful. |
