| My work is influenced by Elizabeth Murray. The technical inspiration for shaped paintings and the use of wood comes largely from having viewed her work. I come also from a background in metalworking which I have begun to use with the wood shapes along with oil and acrylic paints. Shapes which I use are mostly based on organic curved forms |
