My art is three dimensional on a two dimensional surface. I use either canvas board or stretched canvas for my abstract recycled artwork. Experimenting with mixed media and using recycled material is very inspirational to me as an artist and teacher. I noticed when I'm working on my own art at the high school atmosphere; my students become more aware of how and why they are using the materials supplied for their classes. Even more so when they have to purchase or find their own supplies! "Practice What I Teach" is my motto and my students see it daily in my classroom. |
