| My current focus is the portrait. I am involved in an exploration of design, mood, and personal expression on the 2D surface. My exploration involves working from a live model and entering into a relationship that involves my visual interpretation of the model as a universal symbol of the human experience. My portraits have a common contemplative theme. I try to capture in the model those intimate moments that represent those times in our busy lives when we are in touch with our true selves and the revelations that come from those fleeting moments. |
