Membership - Why Join?
Woman Made Gallery (WMG) provides exhibition opportunities to women artists and educates the public about women's artistic contributions. Membership enables us to conduct juried and curated exhibitions promoting artists from the US and internationally. Since 1992 and through 2007 WMG has exhibited the work of more than 5500 artists in 155 group shows and highlighted a body of work by individual artists in 75 solo shows. About 30% of all exhibiting artists are from Illinois and 70% are from other US states including from overseas. WMG is counting on membership support to do the programs that benefit women artists. Please support us with your membership, renew your membership and/or make a donation by using any of the following options:
All contributions above basic membership fees are tax-deductible as permitted by law. Basic membership ($40.00) and all levels below that, senior, student and electronic memberships, are deductible as a business expense only. Please check if your employer has a matching gift program that can double or triple your contribution to Woman Made Gallery. If so, please get a matching gift form from your employer, fill it out completely and return it following your employer's guidelines. Please Click Here to view the Member Artists' Galleries and make a gift to yourself or to a special artist in your life. This service is open to both women and men, and artists who have already a current membership may contact WMG at 312-738-0400 to upgrade their membership. Membership Benefits 
Currently, Woman Made Gallery has more than 700 active members and is supported by the generosity of its members, artist's entry fees, commissions from art sales, donations and grants. Membership is not required for entry into WMG exhibits, except for the Annual Members' Show and our Annual Holiday Bazaar. Because it is our mission not to discriminate financially, we provide our services for free to those women who cannot afford it. Current regular membership of $40 and above or $25 for seniors, students and/or Electronic membership level entitles you to receiving exhibition updates, calls for art and discounts to various Businesses. Please remember that you must show your Woman Made Gallery membership card in order to obtain your discount. Electronic membership entitles you to notifications by email only. ALL MEMBERS receive discounts for select WMG Workshops and Events as well as 10% off on all arts and crafts purchases (except fundraising items), a link to Members' Websites, email notifications of upcoming exhibitions and forwarding opportunities for artists that are sent to us. Members who own a business and would like to offer their services with a discount to WMG members may be included on our Member Discount Page and in our quarterly newsletters. Just e-mail us the information at gallery@womanmade.org. ALL WMG MEMBERS may enter work to be juried into the Annual Member's Show held each August, except for the Anniversary Show in 2007. Please include your email address when completing the membership form so we can inform you about upcoming shows, exhibition opportunities and entry deadlines.
