“I received my B.A. in Fine Arts from Earlham College in Richmond, Indiana. My work is in many public collections in Washington and Oregon, including the King County Courthouse, 4Culture King County Portable Works, Harborview Medical Center, Multnomah County Regional Arts & Culture Council, and the Rare Books Collection at the Evergreen State College. My work is also included in the international building community project “Women Beyond Borders: Out of the Box-Art Expressing Life.” “As a printmaker, photographer, and mixed-media artist, I layer images and text with varying degrees of opacity, exploring the perception of life and the transitory nature of the human condition. Pictographs, cultural icons, patterns, old photographs, metaphors, and symbolism serve as the framework for my visual language. My current work is a series of monoprints and mixed-media pieces synthesizing memory and history.” (Olympia, WA)
