Lorian Brown was born in Boston, Massachusetts. She has degrees from Radcliffe and Wheelock, and for many years was a therapeutic teacher working with disturbed young children and their families. Her poems have been published by Appalachia, The Larcom Review and The Wilderness House Literary Review. Currently she is working on a chapbook of poems about the loss of her parents. She continues to keep one foot in New Hampshire and the other in Massachusetts.
