Making an artist's book is an adventure, and I believe engaging with an artist's book as the reader should be an adventure as well. Many of my books incorporate a box, serving as a stage for the interaction between the book and the reader. This interaction has a performative quality, as the reader engages more deeply with the work. Although my books bring me endless amusement, ultimately I make books because I'm driven by the desire to connect with others, through my work.
