My photography explores the quiet sense of solitude. I look towards the tension between isolation and connection while considering the relationship we have with our surroundings, in particular, the sensibility of nature as an emotional wilderness and the intimacy of man's physical presence within this space.

I illuminate common yet alien settings as lonely, contemplative environments. My compositions focus on the unique beauty and sensuality of seclusion, and the search for a sense of purpose and place … finding proximity and intimacy, however, often discovering the tranquility in separation and detachment.
