Like video, music and gardens are based in time. In music counterpoint is a texture of interwoven melodic lines. I see musical counterpoint in my garden. Nature is the continuous theme. The growing season evolves like variations in tempo. In Counterpoint my garden grows like lines of music in a Bach prelude. As a gardener I am one of many musical elements in time.
