I draw inspiration by observing the details of nature. By reducing a natural object to its bare essence, I attempt to get at “the nature of nature,” then re-interpret it in clay form, usually at a greatly enlarged scale. In doing so, I hope to inspire others to become more cognizant of the beauty in the everyday natural world around them. (Cullman, AL)
