My “Secret Life of…” series reflects on the cycle of life, death, decay and rebirth.

This representational work mixes hand-formed ceramics, raku firing, hand-forged steel and copper, and/or hot manipulated glass, torch-work glass and cast glass to intrigue the viewer with questions to ponder.

Currently, I am focusing on the surface of the “skin” of the tree, adding unexpected detail and embellishments to create the juxtaposition I strive for in my work.
