I have discovered that through the process of making art there are many transformations. An example would be combining a figurative gesture with abstract shapes. The transformation would be the creation of a symbolic image.Another example is when a painting creates its own abstract pictorial language. The transformation occurs when the viewer is urged to communicate with the piece of art and the art is changed to accommodate the viewer.
The transformation I receive as the artist is the representation of nostalgia, which occurs with every painting.
