During the recent three-month Artist Residency at Spudnik Press, I began working on an extensive project that consisted of illustrating, screen printing and hand-binding an edition of books based on Heinrich Hoffmann's Der Struwwelpeter. The book, originally published in German in 1844, contains ten gruesome and whimsical cautionary tales for children.
