This work is from a self-portrait series that revolves around my decision to dissolve my marriage. I have been compelled to document this period in my life. Images from this series serve as tokens of personal evaluation and remembrance. The bed is one of the pieces of furniture I came away from my marriage with. I have made efforts to transform it into my personal, solitary, sanctuary and reclaim it as a place of love.
