The Artisan Gallery at Woman Made is opening a new juried exhibition, "Contents Include: Glass". This exhibition continues a series that explores the multiple ways artisans use a specific material in the process of making their art. Glass art has never been more popular for both artist and collector. Artists are addressing that interest with more complicated processes and ambitious forms.

Nancy Otto, who lives and works in the San Francisco area is our "Featured Artist" for this exhibition. Otto, whose glass work is about duality and taking risks, utilizes the Italian technique of murrini application which results in colorful and intricate layers within her blown forms.
